intro blog post
My name is Carson, I'm 21 years old and am from Austin, TX. I have lived in Austin all my life except my junior year of high school when I attended a boarding school in Sewanee, TN. I played lacrosse through high school and now enjoy tennis and golf. I am an ADPR major here at TCU with a minor in RTVF. I have always enjoyed the music and film scene in Austin and was lucky enough to intern for 2929 productions in Los Angeles last summer. I took this course because A. it was required but also B. because I enjoy group discussions on subjects that can be widely interpreted many different ways. I do enjoy leisure reading, the last three books I've read were by Chuck Palahniuk.

ReplyDeleteExcellent posting. I'm glad to have you with us and hope the blogging issues have subsided. Let me know if you need any more "tech support," and I'll try my best. On a different note, I also worked in LA last summer, though I was at UCLA and not a cool production company. I'm sure it was an enriching experience.

ReplyDeleteThat's cool that you got the chance to go to LA. Did you run into and celebrities? I know when I intern at FSN (Fox Sports Network) in Irving i got the opportunity to go to some hockey, baseball, and basketball games. We would go into the locker rooms and talk to the players before and after the games and being that close to the players was crazy and cool at the same time.
